Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 November 2026
These terms govern your use of SteamCards.Trade. By signing in or placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Who we are
SteamCards.Trade (“we”, “us”) is operated by the operator of SteamCards.Trade. You can reach us at contact@steamcards.trade.
SteamCards.Trade is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Steam, the Steam logo and Team Fortress 2 are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
2. Eligibility and your Steam account
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter into a binding contract. You must use your own Steam account and comply with the Steam Subscriber Agreement and Steam’s rules on trading.
You are responsible for everything done with your account and your Steam Trade URL. Keep Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled: trade offers need confirmation, and Steam may put items on hold if it is off.
3. How the service works
You sign in with Steam. We read your public Steam inventory (trading cards, foil cards, emoticons, profile backgrounds and Team Fortress 2 keys) so we can show what you can sell and what we would pay.
Selling: you choose items and we create an order. Our bot sends you a Steam trade offer. When you accept it and it completes, the credits for that order are added to your balance.
Buying: you spend credits on complete card sets and TF2 keys. The credits are deducted when you place the order and our bot sends you a trade offer with the items.
Our bot only ever sends you offers for the order you placed. We will never ask for your Steam password, Steam Guard codes, API key or to log in anywhere other than steamcommunity.com. Always check the items in the offer before you accept it.
4. Credits
Credits exist only on this site. They are not money, not a financial product and not electronic money. They cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, sold, transferred to another user or exchanged for anything other than the sets and keys we offer.
One credit is roughly equal to one Steam gem; this is only a rough reference and not a guaranteed exchange rate.
We may correct your balance if credits were added or removed by mistake, and we may remove credits obtained through fraud, abuse or a reversed trade.
5. Prices and availability
Payouts for items you sell and prices of sets and keys are set by us and can change at any time. The price shown when you place an order is the price that applies to that order. Payouts depend on market values, our own limits (for example a maximum payout per card) and stock.
Stock is limited and shown as accurately as we can; an order may fail if an item is no longer available. If we make a clear pricing error we may cancel the affected order and return your credits or items where possible.
6. Orders and delivery
An order is “pending” until our bot sends the trade offer, then “sent” until Steam reports the result. Offers that you decline, that expire or that fail are marked failed: credits spent on a failed purchase are returned, and no credits are paid for a failed sale.
Trade offers can be delayed or blocked by Steam (trade holds, outages, rate limits, mobile confirmation). We are not responsible for delays caused by Steam. Before you sell, your inventory must have been refreshed in the last 30 minutes; the site will ask you to refresh it if it is older.
7. No refunds for completed trades
Items are digital goods delivered through Steam. Once a trade is completed it is final: we cannot undo it and credits are not refunded for a completed purchase, except where the law gives you a right to a remedy.
If you are a consumer in a country with a statutory right of withdrawal, by placing an order you ask us to start delivery immediately and you acknowledge that, where the law allows, you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery has begun.
8. Acceptable use
You must not: use stolen, scammed, chargeback-prone or otherwise illegitimately obtained items; try to exploit pricing or stock errors; use bots or scripts to overload the service; try to bypass Steam trade holds or restrictions; misuse another person’s account or Trade URL; or break any law while using the service.
9. Suspension and termination
We may refuse an order, suspend or close an account and remove credits if we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or a breach of these terms, or if we have to by law or by Steam’s rules. You can stop using the service at any time; unused credits have no cash value and are lost if you close your account or we close it for a breach.
10. Third-party services
The service relies on Steam (sign-in, inventories, trading) and on third-party content such as game images served by Steam’s content networks. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability or content.
11. Disclaimers and limits of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that prices, stock or market values shown are exact.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss caused by Steam, by your account security, or by actions you take after being warned. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the value of the credits or items involved in that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
12. Changes
We may update the service and these terms. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the country where the operator of SteamCards.Trade is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Please contact us first at contact@steamcards.trade so we can try to solve the problem.
